1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional for thickening)
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4–6 oval patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown patties on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Add sliced onions to the skillet and cook until softened and golden.
Pour in beef broth and stir to loosen browned bits. Return patties to the skillet.
Simmer for 15–20 minutes until patties are fully cooked.
If desired, stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken the gravy.
