Powdered Milk: 3 tbsp (makes them fluffy).
Yogurt: 2 tbsp (the secret for a soft texture).
Vegetable Oil: ¼ cup.
Warm Water: About 1 cup (add gradually until the dough forms).
2. The Coating
Ground Cinnamon: 2 tbsp.
Granulated Sugar: ½ cup.
Melted Butter: ½ cup (for dipping).
3. The White Glaze (Topping)
Cream Cheese: 4 oz (room temperature).
Condensed Milk: ½ cup (or mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 2 tbsp milk and a splash of vanilla).
π©π³ Preparation Steps
Step 1: Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
Add the oil, yogurt, and powdered milk. Stir well.
Gradually add the flour and knead until you have a smooth, soft dough.
Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
Step 2: Shape and Coat
Punch the dough down and divide it into small, bite-sized balls (about the size of a walnut).
For the Oven (Best Texture): Dip each ball into the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mix.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Step 3: Glaze
Whisk the cream cheese and condensed milk together until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze generously over the warm bites immediately after they come out of the oven.
