German Chocolate Poke Cake

Ingredients:

1 box German chocolate cake mix ๐ŸŽ‚

1 cup water ๐Ÿ’ง

1/2 cup vegetable oil ๐Ÿ›ข️

3 large eggs ๐Ÿฅš

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk ๐Ÿฅ›

1 cup caramel sauce ๐Ÿฏ

1 cup chopped pecans ๐ŸŒฐ

1 cup chocolate chips ๐Ÿซ

1 cup shredded coconut ๐Ÿฅฅ

1 cup heavy cream ☁️

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (for ganache) ๐Ÿซ

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan to make sure that cake comes out perfectly!

2. Grab that box of German chocolate cake mix and mix it with water, vegetable oil, and eggs according to the instructions. Once well combined, pour it into the prepared pan and bake it for the recommended time. Let it cool for about 10 minutes, but not too long, or you’ll miss out on the fun part!

3. Once cooled, take the handle of a wooden spoon and poke holes all over the cake—this is where all the delicious filling will soak in!

4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce over those holes, allowing it to seep deep into the cake. Yum!

5. For the ganache, heat the heavy cream until it’s hot but not boiling. Then pour it over 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips. Stir it until it's nice and smooth, then let it cool slightly.

6. Now for the fun part—sprinkle those chopped pecans, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut all over the top of your cake. Drizzle the chocolate ganache over everything for that extra touch of indulgence!

7. Pop the cake into the refrigerator for about 2 hours to help set the flavors and make it extra .
