Ingredients
For the Salmon Bites:
2 salmon fillets, skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes
½ cup cornstarch or all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper, to taste
2–3 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Sweet Chili Sriracha Sauce:
¼ cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1–2 tsp sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
1 tsp honey
½ tsp lime juice
Optional Garnish:
Chopped green onions
Sesame seeds
Lime wedges
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Salmon
Pat salmon pieces dry. In a bowl, toss salmon with cornstarch (or flour), garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Step 2: Fry the Salmon Bites
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add salmon bites and cook 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Step 3: Make the Bang Bang Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth. Taste and adjust spice or sweetness as desired.
Step 4: Toss & Serve
Gently toss the crispy salmon bites in the sauce until coated, or drizzle the sauce over the bites for serving.
Step 5: Garnish
Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
