These sautΓ©ed green beans are bold, crunchy, and bursting with garlic-chili flavor — the perfect quick side dish for any meal!

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to heat level)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional: 1 tsp soy sauce or lemon juice for extra flavor

Blanch the Beans (Optional for brighter color):
Boil green beans for 3 minutes, then drain and shock in ice water. Pat dry.
SautΓ©:
Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Season:
Add green beans, chili flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Toss and sautΓ© for 5–7 minutes, until beans are lightly blistered and coated in seasoning.
Finish:
Add soy sauce or lemon juice if desired and give it a final toss.
Serve hot!
