This pasta is buttery, lemony, and full of tender shrimp coated in a glossy garlic sauce. It’s quick, cozy, and tastes like something you’d get at a restaurant—without the fuss.
π ingredients:
• 12 oz spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine
• 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
• 4 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1/2 cup chicken broth or dry white wine
• 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
• 1/4 cup grated parmesan
• Salt & black pepper to taste
• Optional: chopped parsley, extra butter, or a splash of cream
π₯£ directions:
cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Save 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
cook the shrimp
Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil + 2 tbsp butter in a skillet. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
make the garlic butter sauce
Add remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth (or wine) + red pepper flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Squeeze in lemon juice.
bring it all together
Add pasta to the sauce with parmesan and a splash of pasta water. Toss until glossy and coated.
Add shrimp back in and toss gently.
serve
Top with parsley, extra parmesan, or a little more lemon.

• Add spinach or cherry tomatoes for freshness
• For extra richness, stir in a tablespoon of cream
• Use jumbo shrimp for a luxurious vibe
