Ingredients:
For the Feta Rolls
8 sheets phyllo pastry
8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
2 oz cream cheese (optional for creaminess)
1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
½ tsp black pepper
Neutral oil for frying
For the Chili Maple Drizzle
3 tbsp maple syrup
½–1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
½ tsp lemon juice
Directions:
In a bowl, mix feta, cream cheese (if using), dill, and black pepper until combined.
Lay one sheet of phyllo on a clean surface and brush lightly with oil. Fold in half lengthwise.
Place 1–2 tablespoons of the feta mixture at the bottom of the strip and roll tightly, tucking in the sides. Repeat with remaining sheets and filling.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry rolls 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
Meanwhile, whisk together maple syrup, chili flakes, and lemon juice for the drizzle.
Drizzle the chili maple over the warm feta rolls before serving.
