Oven-Baked Caesar Chicken with Parmesan Sauce



Ingredients

For the Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Parmesan Sauce:

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for depth)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 tsp lemon juice (for brightness)

Optional Toppings/Garnish:

Croutons (for crunch)

Chopped fresh parsley

Extra Parmesan


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken

Pat chicken dry. Rub with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Place in a lightly greased baking dish.

Step 3: Bake the Chicken

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from oven and let rest while preparing the sauce.

Step 4: Make the Parmesan Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and sautรฉ until fragrant (~30 seconds).

Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.

Stir in Dijon mustard (if using), lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 5: Serve

Drizzle Parmesan sauce over the baked chicken.

Garnish with chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, and optional croutons.
