INGREDIENTS

3 cups powdered sugar

85g (3 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

½ tsp peppermint extract

Gel food coloring (red, pink, green)

 Topping (Optional)

Red sanding sugar

Edible glitter or crushed candy cane

Piping bag or spoon for shaping (optional)

The texture is creamy and airy, with a cool peppermint kick and a soft, pastel sweetness that dissolves instantly on the tongue.

๐Ÿ”ข INSTRUCTIONS

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.

Add peppermint extract and mix to combine.

Gradually add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Divide the dough into portions and tint each with gel food coloring.

Roll into small balls or press into silicone molds for shaped mints.

If not using molds, gently flatten each ball with a fork or finger.

Sprinkle with sanding sugar or crushed candy cane while still soft.

Let sit at room temperature, uncovered, for 12–24 hours to dry and set.

Store in an airtight container, layered with wax paper.

Best served within 1 week for optimal softness and flavor.
