German Chocolate Pound Cake



**Description:** A rich, moist chocolate pound cake topped with the iconic coconut pecan frosting, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

- 1 cup butter

- 2 cups sugar

- 4 large eggs

- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup buttermilk

- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1 tsp salt

- 4 oz German sweet chocolate, melted

- 1 cup shredded coconut

- 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Alternate adding dry mix and buttermilk to batter.

3. Stir in melted chocolate. Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour 15 mins.

4. Cool, then top with coconut pecan frosting.
