Cajun Shrimp Boil in Garlic Butter Sauce

Messy, spicy, buttery – the ultimate flavor-packed Southern feast!

๐Ÿ“ Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb large shrimp (shell-on or peeled)
  2. 1/2 lb andouille sausage, sliced
  3. 2 ears of corn, cut into chunks
  4. 1/2 lb baby potatoes, halved
  5. 1 lemon, halved
  6. 4 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  7. 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  8. 3 tbsp olive oil
  9. Garlic Butter Sauce:
  10. 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  11. 6 cloves garlic, minced
  12. 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  13. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  14. 1 tsp smoked paprika
  15. 1 tbsp chopped parsley

๐Ÿฝ️ How to Make It:

1️⃣ Boil the Base:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook for 10–12 mins, then toss in corn and sausage for another 5 mins. Squeeze in lemon for that zesty kick and bold Southern vibe.
2️⃣ Toss in the Shrimp:
Add shrimp to the pot and boil for 2–3 mins until just pink. Drain everything and transfer to a big bowl or tray – it’s shrimp boil time, baby!
3️⃣ Make the Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and smoked paprika. Let it simmer until rich and fragrant, the kind of sauce that coats every bite in buttery bliss.
4️⃣ Toss Everything in Sauce:
Pour garlic butter over the shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes. Toss to coat every nook with that mouthwatering Cajun flavor. Don’t hold back – this is meant to be juicy, messy, and crazy good.
5️⃣ Serve It Hot & Loud:
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra lemon wedges. Serve in bowls or straight from the tray – this is party food at its finest, made to feed a crowd and bring the heat.
