Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
4 cups diced potatoes
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, chopped
4 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional toppings: shredded cheese, chopped green onions, or croutons
Directions:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat. Transfer the beef to the crockpot.
Add the diced potatoes, chopped onion, sliced carrots, and chopped celery to the crockpot. Pour in the beef broth, and stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the vegetables are tender.
Once the cooking time is complete, stir in the heavy cream and let it heat through for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with your choice of shredded cheese, chopped green onions, or croutons.
