"A steakhouse classic you can master at home!"
Ingredients:
1 T-bone steak (about 1–1.5 inches thick)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Optional: creamy dipping sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions:
Prepare the Steak:
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it sit for 15–20 minutes at room temperature.
Make the Herb Butter:
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with fresh thyme and parsley. Set aside in the refrigerator to keep firm.
Cook the Steak:
Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or adjust to your preferred doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130°F for medium-rare).
Rest the Steak:
Transfer the steak to a plate and top with a dollop of the prepared herb butter. Cover lightly with foil and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Serve:
Slice the steak against the grain and serve with the herb butter melted over the top. Pair with your favorite creamy sauce or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
Savor every bite! 😋
