Ingredients:
500g beef steak, cut into cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
For the Mac and Cheese:
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Steak Bites: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites, seasoning with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until browned and slightly crispy on the edges, about 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh thyme and sesame seeds.
Prepare the Mac and Cheese: Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain. In the same pot, melt butter, stir in flour to form a roux, then gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Add shredded cheeses and stir until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Combine and Serve: Serve steak bites alongside the creamy mac and cheese, garnish with parsley.
