Incredibly tender and delicious, this Slow Cooker Pulled Pork can be used in so many ways. It's really simple to make with minimum effort too!
Ingredients
2 kg pork shoulder
1 large onions sliced
350 ml cider
60 ml apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp whole grain mustard
1 tbsp chilli flakes or powder
5 cloves garlic sliced
½ tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
Slice the onion and add it to the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the pork shoulder on top of the onions
In a jug, whisk together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the pork
Cook on low for 9-10 hours
After cooking, lift out of the slow cooker and remove the rind and fat. Using two forks, shred the meat
