Ingredients:
2 cups diced apples (peeled)
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 package puff pastry (thawed)
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until apples soften and mixture thickens (5-7 minutes). Let cool.
Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares. Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each square.
Fold pastry into triangles, sealing edges with a fork.
Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
