Ingredients:
1 lb steak, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
8-10 slices of White American cheese
20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the waffle cut fries.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Season the sliced steak with garlic salt and black pepper, then add it to the skillet. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the sliced green bell pepper and onion to the skillet with the steak. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
While the steak and vegetables are cooking, bake the waffle cut fries according to the package instructions until crispy.
Once the fries are ready, remove them from the oven and top with the steak and vegetable mixture.
Place the White American cheese slices over the top and return to the oven until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
