This Ground Beef and Spinach Skillet with Feta is quick, hearty, and full of Mediterranean-style flavor. Juicy beef, garlicky spinach, and salty feta come together in one pan for a satisfying meal that’s great on its own or over rice or pita π
ingredients:
• 1 lb ground beef
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 small onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp cumin
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 6–8 cups fresh spinach
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
• Optional: crushed red pepper flakes or chopped parsley
directions:
cook the beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up.
Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat if needed.
build the flavor
Add onion and cook 2–3 minutes until softened.
Stir in garlic, paprika, cumin, and oregano. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
add spinach
Add spinach in batches, letting it wilt down.
Cook 2–3 minutes until tender.

Drizzle in lemon juice and toss.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with feta cheese.
