For the Salmon:

1 salmon fillet

1 tsp olive oil

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Bowl:

1/2 cup cooked white rice

1/3 cup black beans (rinsed & drained)

1/3 cup sweet corn

1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 avocado, sliced

1 cup arugula or mixed greens

Lime wedge (for serving)

Season the Salmon:

Rub salmon with olive oil, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Salmon:

Heat a skillet over medium-high. Sear salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until blackened on the outside and flaky inside. Let rest briefly.

Prep the Bowl Base:

Warm rice, black beans, and corn. Slice avocado and tomatoes.

Assemble the Bowl:

Add rice to the bowl, then arrange beans, corn, tomatoes, greens, and avocado around the salmon.

Finish & Serve:

Add a fresh lime wedge and a sprinkle of cracked pepper. Optional: drizzle with chipotle sauce or cilantro-lime dressing.
