Ingredients:
12 oz pasta (penne or rotini works great)
1 lb ground turkey
6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce
1/2 cup milk (optional, for thinning sauce)
1 tbsp ketchup (adds a cheeseburger twist!)
1 tsp mustard (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving a bit of bacon grease in the pan.
In the same pan, sautΓ© diced onion until soft. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in Alfredo sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Add milk if you want a creamier consistency.
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat evenly.
Mix in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, then fold in chopped bacon (save some for topping).
Cook on low until everything is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with remaining bacon and fresh herbs.
