• 4 tbsp cream cheese

• 2 ½ tbsp powdered (icing) sugar

• ¼ tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Filling:

• 6 tbsp unsalted butter

• 4 tbsp brown sugar

• 2 tbsp cinnamon powder

For the Egg Mixture:

• 1 egg

• 3 tbsp milk

For the Coating:

• ¼ cup caster sugar

• 2 tsp cinnamon powder

For the Roll Ups:

• 12 slices of white bread, crusts removed

• Butter for greasing the pan

Instructions:

• Make the cream cheese topping: In a bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly and set aside.

• Make the cinnamon filling: In another bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.

• Prepare the egg mixture: In a small bowl, slightly beat the egg and add milk. Mix until smooth.

• Prepare the coating: In a plate, combine caster sugar and cinnamon powder. Set aside.

• Prep the bread: Remove the crusts from the bread slices and flatten them using a rolling pin.

• Assemble the roll-ups: Spread ½ to ¾ tbsp of cinnamon filling onto each slice of bread and roll up tightly.

• Cook the roll-ups: Heat butter in a non-stick pan over low to medium heat. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating well, and place in the pan. Cook 4 to 5 roll-ups at a time.

• Fry the roll-ups: Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, turning every 30 to 45 seconds until golden brown on all sides.

• Coat the roll-ups: Remove from the pan and immediately coat in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

• Serve with the cream cheese topping or for dipping.
