8 large potatoes, thinly sliced
3 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups gruyere cheese, grated
2 tbsp fresh thyme
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt, pepper, and nutmeg
Springform pan for baking
Layer potato slices vertically in springform pan, pour cream-egg mixture over, bake at 350°F for 1.5 hours until set like a cake, cool before unmolding!
